Since 1995 I am professional dancer. I worked with different choreographers and I dealt with the diversity of body aesthetics.

My choreographic research started in 2009 when I examined the piece ‘The Rite of Spring’ in relation to gender specific physicality and dance biographies. I developed a Rite of Spring trilogy: Ne danse pas si tu ne veux pasNo 'rait of spring and SACRES.

Since 2015, the focus of my choreographic practice has been about the abolition of gender and identity categorisations.

After three gender-specific dance productions: T/HE/Y, YBRIDE and Solange die Nacht wirbelt, I invited artists from different fields with whom I examine the historical legacies of queer cultures. This gave rise to group pieces called MELANCHOLÌA and WHO’S AFRAID OF RAIMUNDA.

With "KÖRPER DELUXE" (2022) - a group piece that recently premiered at Kampnagel - a paradigm shift in my own producing has already been marked. I am leaving the gender-specific guideline of previous productions and directing my artistic search towards practices of social resistance against discrimination and discrediting.

In my performance work, as well as my many community projects with young people and adults in Germany, I always seek an open dialogue about contemporary socio-political developments and question the growing calls for a return to homogeneous societies.
